Male Seahorses Give Birth Instead of the Females.
Think we made a mistake writing the heading? Well it is as it says! A female seahorse will transfer around 50–1500 eggs into the the male’s brood pouch after courtship. He’ll fertilize them and carry the eggs for several weeks as they mature, before releasing them. Way to take the load off!
